Each item of furniture is made from MDF (medium density fibreboard) and pine. All edges are safely rounded off and there are no sharp corners. The furniture is painted with lead-free paints, and finished off with a tough acrylic varnish. Special commissions may involve other materials which I will discuss with you at the planning stage. Other materials that may be used include: Plywood for slats, flooring grade chipboard for bases, and marine ply for outdoor furniture.
