I trained at college in Theatre design, a course which included scene-painting, scenic joinery, and 3-dimensional design. On leaving college I went into the exhibition industry, in which I worked for nine years, first employed, later freelance. During that time I scene-painted some exhibition stands. In 1995 I painted a mural for some friends in their church in the south of France, they liked it so much I decided to see if there was a market for murals back home. Following an experimental advert in the local paper, I had two enquiries in the first week. The rest, as they say, is history. website.
